Dragons symbolize a myriad of qualities and the phoenixes are the counter-balance of all of these. In many Asian cultures, these two mythical creatures are often given in the form of intricate jewelries such as golden bracelets and pendants for this reason to symbolize harmony, a natural union of male and female and the philosophy of a good marital union—give and take.
This green jade pendant depicts a dragon on one-half and a phoenix on the other with the two combining to form a heart. The message is clear and direct.
